The Couple is to  support the Lodge Manager in the day-to-day operation of the lodge, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional stay while maintaining the highest standards across all departments.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.
  • Leading and motivating lodge staff through a hands-on management style.
  • Overseeing Front Office, Guest Relations, Housekeeping and Food & Beverage operations.
  • Assisting with lodge administration, reporting and operational planning.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of presentation and service throughout the lodge.
  • Handling guest requests and resolving challenges professionally.
  • Supporting and developing team members through coaching and leadership.
  • Building lasting relationships with guests, colleagues and travel partners.
The suitable candidate should meet the following criteria:
  • Age range approximately 25 – 35 years
  • No pets
  • Couple Salary range: R40,000 to R48 000 per month negotiable depending on experience
  • Would prefer no BEE candidates.
One partner should have experience in:
  • Lodge Operations
  • Guest Relations
  • Front Office
  • Food & Beverage
  • Housekeeping
  • Staff Management
  • Administration and Reporting
The second partner should have experience in one or more of the following:
  • Safari Guiding (FGASA qualification advantageous)
  • Hospitality Operations
  • Food & Beverage
  • Maintenance
  • Guest Activities
  • General Lodge Management
Minimum Requirements
  • Previous experience in a luxury lodge or five-star hospitality environment
  • A genuine passion for guest service and creating unforgettable experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Computer literacy and experience with hospitality management systems.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Rooms Division Experience
  • Practical with some experience in maintenance
  • Professional presentation and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • A willingness to live and work in a remote bush environment.
