Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid RSA Driver’s License

Proficient in Office Suite and Email

Exceptional Guest Relations skill

Ability to manage staff

Understanding and ability to manage the different departments

Ability to plan ahead and problem solve

Financial experience in budget control, stock takes and stock control

Experience:

5 years experience in a Big 5 reserve and 5 star lodge necessary

Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Big 5 reserve

Experience working with a point of sale system

ResRequest experience will be beneficial

Package

Salary is negotiable depending on experience and references

Accommodation

Meals while on duty

21 days on 7 days off work cycle

15 days annual leave

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Meticulous in all aspects of managing the lodge

Managing, Overseeing and Disciplining Staff

Staff training and development

Assisting the marketing manager to get content for social media

Hosting Duties

Allocation of Airport Transfers

Little paws program

Assistance around the lodge in other departments if needed

Reporting to Group Operations Manager(s) and Head Office

Staff Management

Wage costs and staff welfare

Staff discipline

Staff training

Salary R 55 000 to R 60 000 including accommodation
