Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Executive Chef to lead our team.

Strong background in fine dining and a creative approach to menu development.

Be responsible for overseeing the kitchen department, managing a team of 13 staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute innovative 4 or 6-course tasting menus that align with our fine dining standards.
• Lead, mentor, manage a team of 13 kitchen staff, fostering a positive including productive work environment.
• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations; food preparation, cooking, plating, presentation.
• Maintain strict hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, control food costs to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Continuously seek ways to improve our culinary offerings.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment.
• High Standard culinary skills with a strong emphasis on creativity and presentation.
• Excellent leadership including team management abilities.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, including inventory management and cost control.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
• Formal training and relevant certifications are preferred.

Salary R 30 000 including accommodation – utilities (lights and water) covered
